So many acts have toured here or made Branson home, including Dolly Parton’s Stampede. “60 Minutes” did a segment on Branson back in the early nineties and named it the “live music capital of the entire universe!”
And did you know that the creator of “The Beverly Hillbillies” was inspired by Branson? They filmed the first five episodes of Season 8 here when the Clampetts returned to their roots after moving to California!
